Default 1/2a flying

I'm just your average every day sport flyer, flying for close to 8 years now. I've flown .91-049 sized crafts and truthfully, I've had more fun with the .049 planes.

It's really just a matter of flying styles. I've never liked those super aerobatic planes that everybody and there grandmothers seems to want nowadays.

I've flown this one airplane called the Mantis(great little flyer) nearly 100 times, and it's still flying. It's powered by a .061 Norvel which I love. It starts up right away, it's extremely easy to tune and has awesome power for a tiny engine. I use 15% nitro so no I don't get a good idle, but I've seen them powered with 25% with great results.

Best of all, I fly right across the street at this school yard. I don't have to haul too much stuff, my flight caddy is light in one hand and the Mantis in the other.

Just fly what you like, not what your buddies want you to fly.
