Default Why are there so few 1/2a flyers?

I have been fooling around with a norvell .061 and an AP.09, nothing like COX at all. Absolutley 0 problems, got the AP.09 pushing an ACT foxbat/firebat all over the sky. I have flown alot of electric and glow, I find most of these new electrc planes convert to glow very nicely and usually weigh less when finished. The foam ones normally require just a light coat of thinned 20min epoxy to protect from the fuel. I think 1/2A would have been much more popular, but microelectronics has just recently really come of age. Very cheap now.
