Ultra Stick 40 help please
Denjones, I'm trying to understand exactly what you did. Is this correct?: You're using 4 wing servos. Aileron Y connector on channel 1 (with one servo reversed), Flap Y connector on channel 6 (with one servo reversed). In this setup you would get proportional flaps and conventional ailerons.
And, also in this case, you would use the airbrake switch to get the flaps down and the elevator up, while retaining control of the ailerons but without a crow function.
But, would this work?:
Plug the two aileron servos into seperate channels (1 and 6), then plug both flaps into channel 5 (landing gear) using a straight Y connector. This way you could use use the gear switch to drop the flaps (though only to one preset setting of course). And, you could use the flaperon function to get the ailerons to come up when you operate the proportional flaperon knob. <<This assumes that the flaperon function would allow you to raise both ailerons rather than lower them as the manual suggests (have not tested this)>>.
This way you would get crow as well as retain control of the ailerons, no?
