After many flights with my HB A7 Corsair on Toki 18 power, I noticed that every flight seemed to struggle. I mean, the plane tended to float about the sky rather than fly. So I decided to remove the Toki 18 engine, fan and pipe, and start looking for a more powerful DF combo.

I chose the [link=http://kress-jets.com/]Kress Jets[/link] RK-740 fan, and the Picco 45 ducted fan engine with OPS 45 pipe.
Although some modification would need to be done to install the larger fan unit, I thought it would be worth it.

These next few posts will hopefully show you how I did it, and maybe you can adapt this conversion for your own needs.
