Default RE: how to make the C of G go rearward

thanks for all the info there

it doesn't really look very strong i know but the leading edge is like rock, i really couldn't believe how strong it was at first but i've been trying to break it and it jus holds place! I don't think it shows in the pic but tucked away is some triangular stock balsa there which is very strong, almost like birch ply.

i'll stick with the CG point as it is, i can still fit the engine in but it means trimming the leading edge in the middle down a bit. I'll probaly stick in some carbon as you said just to reinforce it to make sure its safe, i'm also going to reinforce the area behind the neacelle just to make sure its safe.

Would it maybe be also possible to replace the horizontal stabalizer with a clark Y airfoiled tail to help bring the CG back just a little bit?

thanks,
