I think i need to post my two cents. I fly at least 3 times a week my hangar 9 edge. I have a saito 180 on it and run 30% fuel. Everyone that has a H9 edge with a saito 180 will tell you that it will hover and i assure you that it will, it just doesn't have all of the reserve power that is desired. I also fly my dads H9 sukhoi with a GT80. I also like zenohas. They are some of the most reliable engines you can buy after they are broke in. My dads sukhoi will hover and pull out, but more power is desired. My H9 edge with the saito that everybody gripes about has more pull out power than the sukhoi. You NEED more power. Just because it will pull out of a hover means jack crap. you need more power and that throttle response that you didnt seem to worried about for walls and smooth hovers. If you only have just enough power and you have to blip the throttle, the plane will pick up a little downward momentum and when you throttle back up the engine will struggle to pull the plane back up. also extra power helps way out when you are doing waterfalls. I know the sukhoi is an awesome 3-D machine, but my dads will not. It will harrier, hover and torque roll, but that is about the extent of it. That is one opinion. My other opinion is that if you ask someones about something you dont know, and an expert on the subject gives you his advice, it is FOOLISH not to take it. The way i see it you have wasted everyones time by them trying to help you out, but you wont let them. Anyways, good luck with the ZDZ 80 or DA 100 because thats what will go on the plane after you finally realize that you have screwed up. Just let us know when you decide to change engines and we'll try not to ignore you or say i told you so.
