From experience with my little Y/A F-18.
Flaps and ailerons does help this plane fly much better.
On take off. I use 15 degree flaps. This prevent the plane balloon on take off.
Landing using 25 degree. It slow down very well with flaps.
I think Skymater F-18 is pretty much the same.

Did you find that using flaps is necessary on this plane.
Skymaster sells both with or without, what is your advice?
