Right but you can get longer horns at your local hobby shop or on line.
the longer horns are stronger and by going longer instead of closer to the surface you maintain mecanical advantage to the surface. am i making sence?
Plus, it sounds like you have a computer radio, use your atv (futaba) or whatever your radio calls the travel adjuster and crank the % to as high as it will go, or to as high as you can without binding servos, this gives you more resolution and lets your servo travel to it's potential.
