Glassing the center section of a plane this size IS A MUST. Should be SOP to do this on any ARF if possible.
With most kits, you still have to throw away bad wood and buy better. so buying better hinges, tires, to me is no big deal. I have maybe 100 flites on my first one, and the second is hanging above my head in the computer room , waiting for its turn. At least Sig made an effort to supply decent hinges. But Robarts are still the way to go, for performance and scale appearances.
