What a kit and Dave is still developing it. I'm soooooo happy with my AT-6 by Scale Dynamics. I left my initial comment about this kit under another forum but here is where it should of been placed. Just finished sheeting the wing using Dave's gorilla glue and pins technique and was amazed at the results. After two sheets of balsa (one on top/one on bottom), the wing could not be twisted. As an old pylon racer, I was tickled to sheet foam wings without weighting them down in the husks and instead I just used straight pins. Also installed the L/gear without any mods. About to install the split flaps. Don't see a problem in their contruction either. I compared this wing with my previously built Midwest wing --- what a significant difference in weight. I see how Dave can make his AT-6 lighter then the Midwest kit. Much lighter. The fuse is a work of art. It is so detailed and Dave is extremely accessable and helpful by email or phone to ensure the quality of the end project. Got my quality contest grade wood from Eric at National Balsa. Between the foam wing and glass fuse, this bird has to come in 3 to 4 pounds lighter. Will power mine with the YS110 which fits neatly in the cowl without any holes being cut. Just thought I would let you know about a sweet kit that will soon make its mark among AT-6 lovers.
