Default charger
It only takes a special charger (rated for NiMH) if you are going to do any fast-charge or "peak detection" charging. I am not familiar with the Sirius charger. Check the specs and if it says it can handle NiMH then you would be OK.

My base charger is an Ace DigiPluse which is a timed charger (15 hours at a user-programmed rate) so I don't have a problem doing the overnight thing with the NiMH battery. My fast (field) charger is a SuperNova 250 which is rated for NiMH.

How are things in Newark? I grew up in Alliance!
