Default RE: P-38 Fly-In

Thanks !

Most of us tend to use motors that are in the upper range listed for the plane by the manufacturer. The altitude is what hits us most. I flew a plane down in theCalifornia desert one Christmas and couldnt believe how fast it was flying... compared to back home in Utah.

My TA-154 uses 2 OS .52's . They seem to give plenty of power. In the winter the planes fly much better than in the summer but it is too dang cold ! I guess the same applies most everywhere else.
