Default RE: First pics of 28% Extra

Here's a flight report on the 28% Extra 300L with the MVVS 58. In a word, awesome.

It is a 3d monster. For some reason the ailerons are really powerful, even small throws really throw it around. Hovering is also apparently a piece of cake. David McCutchen's (test pilot)descriptive words were "solid, stable, responsive, excellent for both 3d and sequences". David put it into a pretty good harrier on low rate elevator. All in all the controls are extremely powerful.

I used a single JR 8611 servo on the rudder with a 3" Air Wild arm, this is the right setup. Knife edge loops were done, and real ones with roundness all the way. None of that cheating where it drops like a rock after you go over the top and you have a "pucker moment" wondering if it will ever pull out. It just does a loop like it was flying on the wing (well, that may be an exaggeration but it was still very cool".

Since the fuse is almost thesame as the Edge, I'd expect the same performance there.

More to come.
