There have been several threads on this topic over the last few weeks about putting a camo job on Monokote.
You've hit most of the problems even if you use scotchbrite or steelwool and take the gloss off the film. Either the iron or heat gun will blister or smear the paint. Monokote needs some heat about every time you take the plane to the field. The oil clean-up will present problems also.
