Scott, thanks for the info. I'm glad to hear it turned out good for you in the end. I figured ordering refurbished engines from Lawnstation was a crapshoot. I'd ordered a couple of Poulan 46cc from them and they both were in good shape and had good compression - nowhere near what you described. But I ended up selling them both and bought brand new Pro295 saws from Lowes instead.

Sounds like mine will weight roughly the same as yours with motor mount added. Should work as well as your Eagle. Can't wait to work on mine. However, I've got 2~3 ARFs to put together before the CE. []
