In case you havent noticed there is a full pc board in the gray 9 pin serial connector and this cable can not be duplicated. Ikarus wont even sell you a new one. You have to call them and send your cable in and they will check it out or replace it. See if anyone else in your area/club has the sim and borrow there cable to see if that is the problem. The pc board may be bad
