Depending on your height, convert any extra airspeed into extra height (if you need to)! Then concerntrate on your approach. If the wind is strong or your altitude is low, use a short approach. If you have lots of altitude or the wind is weak and airspeed is high use a longer approach to wash of any extra speed. Also be aware of any obsticles you may need to clear, such as fences or long grass (or arrester grass as I like to call it). Just remember that you can't go around with no power! So make sure you get it right.
