Whats the best way to transition out of a split S into a dead stick approach after your engine quits on your downwind leg with a 90 size Extra 300L ?
Just hope you never go deadstick while low ang flying downwind. Happened to me as I levelled out after a stall turn. The advice about landing downwind is good, only trouble was the tree in the way!!. I chose to turn, the model chose to stall, the engine got confused and chose to bury itself in the ground!!!![sm=bananahead.gif]
