I heard from many people here to put thin CA in any place you can reach to strengthen the model due to how bad the glue job is on some models (all brands). Also I added balsa to the inside of a fuse per people's advice here. But the problems you had were more than just adding CA to the fuse. I wonder if they are all like that or this one was an oddball? Hobby People sent you a follow up e-mail. I think you should respond to the e-mail and call them to see what they will do for you. They are a good vendor.
