Default RE: Erratic Idle, if at all! (Evolution 46)

Well I went out to the field today to hammer this thing out. Before I went I put the baffle back in and even went back to the stock 3 blade prop! I even overnighted my glow plug igniter just in case. Well I got out to the field, wind a blowing, and gassed her up. Got her fired up and let it run about 1/3 throttle to come up to temp. I then backed her down to idle and let it run for about 30 sec. Snapped the throttle and, blaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh; it dies. To make a long story short, i cranked and cranked and cranked that damn thing until i was so ticked off. I decided that maybe the fuel I was using was bad (only a little left), and I popped open a new bottle of Omega 15% I have mixed up to 20% oil. Nope!!! I finally got so fed up I kept a somewhat high idle and flew the damned thing. Got up there tooting around (it was pretty windy today) and had sorry butt top end with a huge trail of smoke. Landed and leaned her a few clicks and took off again. Much better! Landed and she died on me again! Said "F" it and came home and ripped the motor apart to see what I could find. Well, it was freaking way way way dirty in the spray bar, not to mention the idle was pretty lean. Also I had some grass or something in the carb seat o-ring! Cleaned the heck outta everything and slapped her back together. Fueled her up and ahhhh the idle is now SSSWEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTT! Not to mention the transition is great! Typical as soon as I start doing this the outside temp goes to 65 and the wind settles down nicely! O well, another day!! Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
