RE: Sukhoi's-- Phoenix vs Vector Flight
I have the pheonix, it likes speed. Nice with a YS 63. A bit heavy but not difficult to handle . Typical ARF hardware, tossed it. Flying... Point and shoot. A strong plane. It has a a removable one piece wing, a heavy ( strong) glass cowl and a balsa pan.
I have a vectorflight 66" edge. nice build and as far as i can tell lighter as well. sheeted foam wings, good american hardware. I have not flown it yet. By reputation it is very sensitive to control inputs. It has a flexible lightweight cowl and belly pan. A considirable effort was made to keep it light.
They are both nice. I got my sukhoi for 79$ so its my favorite.
They are both very good. For the extra money you do get better hardware, and strong foam wing with VF. You can buy individual VF parts.
Tough choice.
