When you put a radio in any plane, the first thing you ever do is check the controls to make sure they are right. Never start it till you make sure! Even a good idea the first flight of every day, when you turn on the radio, give them all a check then too. If something got switched on the way to the field or something this will save you and it doesn't take long.
