I have posted many times on here that I like the GP hinge material. I tested some I have on hand and can't duplicate what you are seeing. That does not make me right. If you will drop me a private mail with your address I will send you a stamped self addressed envelope if you will send me some of the defective material so I can test it. If its bad, I have a lot of retractions to make and will gladly do so. If bad I will also furnish the results with GP and the board.
