I would think everyone is going to say go with the extra as I am basic going to do the same type of flying you are BuzyKid. Having own different brands of extras and edges. The edge also see to slow down quicker than an extra which excels this for 3d work along with being a very very slow flyer compared to the edge. So things like a loop will have to be flown different with the 2 different types of planes to maintain the consistent speed to look smooth. I am going with the extra to make a long story short.[:-]
