I've modified a couple of these GP 4" spinners to work with the more traditional spinner nut system. I just grind off the two rivets holding the "V" bracket on the backplate, and use a threaded spinner nut to receive a long spinnet bolt to hold the cone on tight. Just remember to use a spinner nut with 8x32 threads, as 10-32 socket head bolts are too large to go through the cone.
