RE: BRISON 2.4 VS FPE 2.4 ?????
Come on now, if the timing was set at 28deg fixed you better have a good glove and a willingness to have you hand slapped. Fixing a ignition at 18deg is not perfect but definitely better then 28-30 for starting! As for CH Programming the " Spark Curve" I don't buy that they only program where the advance starts and stops the RPM feedback determines the the advance in between, "Spark Curve" is a whole new ballgame. Any way the question was Brison or FPE. Both are good engines. Weather you want one with mechanical advance, fixed or Syncro-spark, how much to spend will determine that. I guess we made it into -Choose You Ignition- No - "Start Your Engines".
