RE: Corona Tail problems, HELP! :(
Simple fix, first off the gyro has to mount as you call it on the floor. Make a shelf out of the scrap wood from the kit shaped like a fork but with the tines facing towards the swash plate. Mount the gyro on the plate facing up. Connect it to your channel 4, rudder channel and connect your servo to the plug on the gyro. Turn on transmitter and be sure the throttle is all the way off. Plug in your battery pack on the Heli. Work your controls on the rudder channel, left rudder should move the servo arm towards the tail. Now, pickup the Heli and swing the tail to the left. Watch the servo arm, it should move to the left as well and, towards the tail. If it moves right, or towards the swash plate you need to reverse the gyro. If it moves to the right from the start, reverse your servo direction. Once you do this, the gyro should be set at 75% and you should be able to lift off without the tail spinning. If it spins and won't stop either you have a bad gyro, or you have something backwards. Reread what I just typed and start over. This will work!!
NOTE: The Corona rotors turn in a counter clockwise rotation, looking down on the top of the rotor blades they should be turning counter clockwise. If you have that right the tail will automatically be correct!
