Hello All,
Well, after breaking in my engine (nowhere near enough) I had to put mine in the air. All I can say is that the guy that did the review for RCUniverse lied. He said that this airplane was fun to fly. That doesn't even come close! It's a friggin' BLAST to fly!!!
Straight up, right off the deck and completely vertical. I only put a Tower .61 on it and it loves it. The fuel siphoning problem will always be there, unless I turn it upside down, but all in all, its great!
I got G2 for Christmas and that helped immensely. I have never had a 3D plane before, so I knew the sim helped when I flew it inverted and was doing snap rolls on the second flight. Third flight, I was doing the closest thing to a hover that I have been able to do, and practiced that the rest of the day. I got a pretty bad sun burn, but it was worth it!
Anyone that wants to buy one, don't let this thread scare you. They float like trainers on approach, land like you knew what you were doing and fly like you've done it before. They build confidence and excitement with every flight. Get one! You will love it!
