Default Covering Repairs

Hey Jeff: Welcome to the pegasus, I've got one also. I also punched a hole with my thumb just picking it up. I used a monokote strip in Dayglow orange, the strip at the LHS, 4"x24", $3.95, but cut a 2" strip and put diagonally from leading edge to trailing edge, then added another strip about 3" inboard. This stuff has a peal backing, spray the area with windex, use a straight edge to clear the bubbles, then dry with a cloth or paper towel very gently so it does not move, don't use heat, (iron or gun), it will melt. The white does not match the Pegaus white, but I used it on the vertical stablizer, when the rudder hinges pulled out, I have just pined all hinges, with tooth picks. Had to remove the covering to reinforce the trailing edge of the vertical fin, no glue from the factory on the top former. Up close can tell, and if light is just right, but from a distance of 3 ft. no can see it.
