Default Tsunami - composites, part 2

Left hand fuselage side all laid up and awaiting bagging. Fuse is comprised of 2 layers of 4oz cloth with aeromat sandwiched inbetween. An 8" piece of carbon is laid near the firewall and front of the wing area, along with 4 oz laid near the wing areas, tail, and other areas needing reinforcement. The first thing that I also do is put carbon tow near the wing fillets to make them stronger.

Also of note - The last fuse that I made in March was the lightest ever. I mixed 11 oz of epoxy for that one. I mixed approximately 9oz this time and estimate that I only used 7oz. That's not to mention how much will be soaked out by the peel ply. Getting better!
