It could be nylon tape - some kits come with it. Either CA or epoxy will work. If you use epoxy, I would warm it to help it flow instead of thinning it. Thinning epoxy can cause problems like it not curing properly. It's been a constant debate here and some people say they have no problems with thinning epoxy and others say they do. Your choice.
