I guess I can try that. The problem is..... There is no access to the tank really. Its a four star 40. There is a small hole. But I can try to stuff it with something. I hate to rip the plane apart when its a problem with the engine.

Another piece of info I didn't mention is that when the trainer crashed the carb got knocked off. I think that may be a possible cause. I put sicone around it, it didn't help though.

You may be right with the tank, but again, I hate to rip the plane apart.
