Shhh, dont' tell the wife...but I cleaned it in the kitchen sink.

First soaked it in simple green for about 20 minutes, then just used the sink sprayer with hot water and it just came right off.

If you do it this way, be sure and run the garbage disposal all the time or put a strainer over the drain, otherwise small rocks will get between the cutter and the housing and jam it up. (Don't ask how I found this out)

Once clean respray the truck in wd-40 and let it sit.
It really helps in gettingthe dirt off the next time.
