it sounds like your low end is too low if it dies when you throttle it up. turn it out a half turn to be extreme. start it up and open the high speed jet up about 5 clicks is my best guess. bring it to peak and then back down on the high end about 2 clicks. bring it down to idle, and wait a couple seconds. then, quickly throttle it up. if it hesitates, it is rich. if it dies, it is lean, however i don't think after richening it out that much it will really do anything. however, it is possible that if you crashed it, you damaged your high speed assembly and it is sucking air. your may have a pinhole in the line, your tank may be vibrating a lot, it could be a number of things. ps. if your tank is not accessable, cut a hatch in the top. they are wonderful.
