Default RE: Flightpack suggestions

Hi, Im sure prices can vary from place to place. I first started with a Hitech micro flight pack with a feather reciever and hs-55 servos. It was a little expensive. And the reciever failed [but after 3-4 planes] Since then I have been puting together flight packs for planes out of different mfgs. Saving a ton of money. The Cirrus micro rx is cheap and very reliable [I have many of them now] and while I think the hs 55 is a good standard micro servo there are some others that are much cheaper [and I have had no failures 2 years] like the 9 and 6 gram servos from dragonfly innovations. [off ebay 9.00 and 12.95 each] work great!! Also GWS puts out some of the best and cheap little flight packs around. There standard mini servo while its large for some park flyers is very light for its size and has good power. Very versitle. It kind of depends on what your building.
Good Luck!!!
