Pull vertical and go to full throttle. If the plane pulls hard left you'll want to add right thrust. Many planes don't even straighten out very well with rudder input.

If you don't mind planes that fly this way it's not an issue but I think that most would rather have a plane that goes where they point it, in that case it can be very important.
