How many of you ardent fans/ detractors, have ever had a small mfgr business?

The reasons for missing delivery forcasts are simply too many to number.
I am not waiting for an engine -but that's besides the point.
I am always interested in new engines -and how they perform - after they are in the marketplace.
Speaking of which-Early on -- I heard a few stunning commentaries the new 52 being sold by Brison.
So far the in the field, comments portray it to be a fine engine comparable with other engines of it's size -
Did anyone find it to be a strong as the 80's - in actual hands on comparisons, as claimed early on?
Anyone?
