if it is a new post you want to make, you can use the "new thread" button at the upper left of the screen. If you want to reply to a post that someone else started, you can use the "post reply" button, or scroll to the very bottom of the screen, and you will see a "quick reply" box. When done typing, just click on the "OK" button.
