RE: Painting question
I have used spray paints from .88 cents a can, from "Ames" to 4.98 a can, none of it from a hobby shop. "Painters Touch" from Rustoleum is a great fuelproof paint. In fact I've used Rustoleum from both the spray, and brush on cans. (up to 15% nitro-which BTW is the limit most "fuelproof" paints claim anyhow)
The key is to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE CAN, and LET IT DRY THOROUGHLY!!!!-(48+hrs.)
Don't spray dopes, or laquer over enamel! Bad news. Enamel can be used over dope, or laquer.
Jetts
P.S., looks like too much thinner, and if it's "aerogloss" it's translucent to begin with. IMO Sig is the only way to go when using dope on silkspan silk or bare wood, very high solids, and very high quality and consistancy.
