Sanding sealer (clear dope with talcum powder added) or a "filling" or sandable primer will help you get good results. The sandable primer is available at your favorite Wal/K/ect. mart, inthe automotive section. You can even get a sandable brush-on primer- paint lightly sand w/220 then 280-400 grit, then spray away!
