I have to agree with modelcrasher a good 6 channel is all you need unless you are going to build some very sophisticated scale plane. I have 3 Futaba Super Seven transmitters. They do everything I ever thought of and more. I bought them on-line here on RCU a while back they where in expensive and will last for a long time.
