Update...

I did get the plane airborne this weekend. It performed reasonably well or at least as well as can be expected with a 40LA engine. My tank did turn out to be sealed pretty well but I am having trouble keeping the engine running. At this point I don't know if its getting air or if I'm just running it too lean.

I do plan to glue up the wing in the 0 degree dihedral mode. Once I got the plane trimmed properly, it flew like expected. Since I'm having engine problems I did have to land deadstick which was no problem.

All summed up, I'm pleased but not overly impressed by this plane.
