Default RE: What happened to Byron Originals?

Iron bay is updating the kits as they bring them back to market. I am presently building a T-28 that Iron Bay produced from the Byron molds. It's going to be a beauty. I have built over thirty of their kits, ranging from classics, aerobatics, WWII war birds, and jets, yes I even once helped a guy finish one of those pipe dreams and one of the last kits the Sundancer. They all fly very well. I had the privilege of working the flight line at a couple of the fly-ins at Ida Grove and I truly believe I will never see anything like it again. Byron Godberson was a true lover of airplanes and a great human being! I believe he should be placed in the Model Aviation hall of fame for his innovative model aircraft kits that raised the quality bar a bunch. I still have four of his aircraft and cherish them. An F-16, Baron twin, Staggerwing Beech and the new T-28.
