well i was going to think outside the bun..but let's break this down..if the plane is tail high..and the prop is turned around backwards..then the prop wash is actually going down (away from any control surfaces) so bursting the throttle can't do anything to make the control surfaces work
If you burst the throttle, the plane will climb, in this case tail first. Air will have to pass over the control surfaces, or more like the surfaces pass through the air. Same for a slight decent. Control, how much is debatable, can be achieved.
This is of course tongue in cheek, as I am sure the pics were meant as.
