Default RE: What to do with old models??

DB,

Thanks for the insight...I guess money really isn't an issue, but I was thinking of getting a real nice radio, like the futaba 9C so I could just use one to fly them all. I know I would have to get some new crystals for the receivers, but I think it would make life easier in the long run. The cub was built by my Dad before he passed away, it was modified a lot to make it really look scale. He custom built a lot of things to make it 100% scale ( he found a guy who had a real one and took thousands of pictures.) I just don't want to fly it b/c I couldn't live with my self if I ever crashed it. It needs to go to a good home where someone else can enjoy it. It does need a few things redone due to being in storage for a while. It has a smoke system etc. on it, and the lines have rotted etc, but the engine was only run twice. I'm about to join a club here in the Charleston area, and hopefully someone at the club can help me to get them back in flying order. The cob webs are pretty thick, as my Dad did almost all of the building/maintenance on the planes. Thanks for the info....
