HANGAR 9 CUB 80"
My student just finished building his new cub ARF. i took it off for maiden flight and immediatley had a problem. the model seriosly was trying to roll itself over to the left. it took absolute full right trim to fly it straight. i flew it around, and it was a joy to fly. i did some low, slow passes to make it loof scale and it was awsome. i landed the plane and shut it down. I noticed his ailerons were not centered. They deflected a good amount to fly straight. We did a lateral balance check and it was fine, CG is dead on, but that wouldnt affect roll. I am thinking the wing might be warped, we will check that soon. He has a saito .56 four stroker in it, plenty of power and sounds so awsome! i helped him with assembly and setup so i know it was built right.
Any ideas as to why the plane wants to roll left hard? i am thinking wing warp, is there any easy way to check for that without an incidence meter?
Thanks all for help!
