If you feel like a little work, you can save around 4 oz by removing the pilot. Believe me when I tell you they are heavy. That's one reason I could go with the OS 70II in my Sukhoi. Removing the pilot offset the added weight of the bigger engine. The pilots are solid and of the hard plastic variety.
