How come full scale helis can't do the stunts that RC's can?
Three words: POWER TO WEIGHT. An RC heli has a tremendous amount of power for its size. Some full scalers (the Apache comes to mind) can't even get off the ground fully armed and fueled. They have to take off with a light fuel load then refuel in the air.
Another reason is stiffnes. A model helicopter is MUCH stiffer than a full scale. Ever notice how the blades droop when a full scale is parked? A model won't do that. Imagine that full scale inverted with those flexey droopy blades. Somebody would be notifying next of kin.
