I also have a Saito 180 on mine with 8411 JR servo which is way more than enough servo,
I bought the servos so when I go to a bigger plane I will have them already. You can do a
search on Hanger 9 edge 540 and their is some theards allready on this plane with some good info. The 180 is plenty of power if you want to go with gas I don't think you need a motor as big as what you are talking about. You will love this plane it fly's great and 3D's good also.
