Ya - we talk about this subject a lot. I fly all Hitec and never had a problem. I've run their 6 series, mini series, and all the digitals (56 & 59). I broke the gears on a 81 the other day, but that was caused by a hard harrier landing.

My theory is Hitec sells more high performance servos than other manufacturers. Assuming the failure rate is the same as JR & Futaba, they get more complaints on RCU b/ more are sold. This is just my theory and it's based on absolutely no facts. We've had this discussion before and lots of guys disagree with me.
